Scenarios and prospects
Presets, custom scenarios, prospect profiles, industry packs and lead-grounded scenarios.
A scenario is the situation; a prospect is the person. Together they define the call. This page explains where each comes from and how to make your own.
#Presets
Every account gets a ladder of scenarios covering the sales cycle: cold open, discovery, demo follow-up, pricing pushback, competitive displacement, procurement, renewal, win-back. Each has a difficulty level, an expected outcome, and a set of behaviours the buyer will exhibit.
Presets are tuned by your industry pack and business model, chosen at setup and changeable under Settings → Context. A SaaS discovery call and a manufacturing discovery call share a shape but not a vocabulary; the pack supplies the vocabulary, the typical objections, and the personas.
#Custom scenarios
On Growth and above you can write your own from Practice → New scenario. A scenario has:
- A situation in plain language: who you are calling, why, what happened last time.
- The buyer's posture: how warm they start, what they care about, what they are hiding.
- An objection focus: one or more objections the buyer will definitely raise. Org accounts can pick from objections mined from real lost deals.
- A terminal: what "winning" looks like. A booked meeting, a verbal commit, a next step.
- Difficulty and direction (inbound or outbound).
Custom scenarios count against your plan's allowance (20 on Growth, 50 on Elite, unlimited on Custom).
#Prospects
A prospect profile is the person and company on the other end of the line: name, title, company, what they care about, and what Revyn knows about the company. Create one from Revyn Voice → Prospects → New, or let Revyn build one from a deal.
For a real deal, choose the deal when starting a call. Revyn researches the company (vendors, competitors, recent news, hiring signals) and injects that research into the buyer, so it raises the specifics your real buyer would. This research is the same engine Ask Revyn's Deep Research uses; it is cached per company and refreshed when it is stale.
#Lead scenarios (org)
Managers can turn a lead sheet into scenarios. Upload or sync a list of target accounts; Revyn researches each, drafts a scenario per account grounded in that research, and puts them in a review queue. Approve the ones you want and assign them. See Members, teams and roles.
#Curriculum (org)
Org accounts on Custom get a curriculum: a thirty-scenario programme grounded in the org's knowledge base, arranged into skill lines with levels and badges. Managers can reorder it, gate levels behind certifications, and see a benchmark leaderboard across the team. See Streaks, challenges, battles.
#Choosing well
- New to a product? Start at the bottom of the ladder and do not skip.
- Losing a specific deal? Practise against that deal's prospect three times in a row.
- Keep hearing the same objection? Write a custom scenario with that objection as the focus and set the buyer's posture to "has already decided".
Note
A scenario never changes mid-call. The buyer adapts to what you say, but the situation, the persona and the terminal are fixed when you press Start, so two reps on the same scenario are graded on the same thing.
