Ask Revyn
Quick answers, deep research, tools that reach your pipeline, and how usage is counted.
Ask Revyn is the sales lead you would message between calls. Ask it how to reframe a price objection, what to send after a stalled thread, which discovery question you skipped on Tuesday. It answers grounded in your knowledge base and your deals, cites what it used, and can go and research a company when the answer is not already in the building.
Open it from the sidebar, or press ⌘K and choose Ask Revyn. Each conversation is a session you can return to.
#Two modes
Quick is the default. It answers from what Revyn already knows: your knowledge base, your debriefs, the deal you mention. Most questions are Quick questions and come back in a few seconds.
Deep Research is a toggle in the composer. When it is on, Ask Revyn plans the work first, fans out to research a company or a topic across the web, reads what it finds, and writes an answer with citations. It takes a minute or two and counts against a separate monthly allowance.
Tip
Turn on Deep Research when the question is about someone else's company: a prospect, a competitor, a market. Leave it off when the question is about your own product, your own call, or your own pipeline; Revyn already has that.
#What it can reach
Depending on your workspace and what you have connected, Ask Revyn can use tools to:
- Read your knowledge base and cite the document.
- Read your debriefs and transcripts.
- Look up deals, their MEDDPICC state and their trackers.
- Read your calendar and the prep queue for upcoming meetings.
- Draft a prep sheet or a follow-up email.
- Research a company (Deep Research).
- Reach connected systems such as your CRM, read-only.
Every tool call is shown in the answer as a step, so you can see what it looked at. In an org, the admin decides which tools are enabled under Settings → AI; see Members, teams and roles.
#Attachments
Drop an image or a document into the composer. A screenshot of a pricing page, a PDF proposal, a competitor's one-pager: Ask Revyn reads it and answers about it. Attachments are stored with the session.
#Memory
Ask Revyn remembers things about you across sessions: your role, the accounts you keep asking about, preferences you state. You can see and clear what it remembers under Settings → Personalisation → Memory. Memory is per workspace and never shared between users.
#Citations
Every claim drawn from a document or a research source is cited inline. Knowledge-base citations link to the document; research citations link to the page. If an answer has no citations, it is drawing on general sales knowledge and says so.
#How usage is counted
| Action | Counts as |
|---|---|
| A Quick message | 1 message |
| A message that uses tools | 2 messages |
| A Deep Research run | 1 research run, plus 5 messages |
Allowances are per seat and per billing period; see Plans and billing. Elite and Custom have unlimited messages under a fair-use cap. When you are close to a limit, the composer tells you before you send.
#Good questions to ask
- "What did I miss on discovery in my last three calls?"
- "Draft a follow-up to Priya at Northwind that addresses the security objection she raised."
- "Compare our pricing to what Acme quotes for a 50-seat deal." (Deep Research)
- "What are the three objections our team is losing most to this quarter?" (org)
